During period of November 25-29 Prof. Alex Koohang visited Warsaw University of Life Sciences. On November 26th, Dr. Koohang conducted a seminar titled “Essential Elements of a Sound Research Paper” for PhD Students and faculty members from the Faculty of Economics. The presentation was focused on key aspects of the writing quality papers that increases the chances of publication. The presentation covered all areas of paper writing process and procedural requirements that qualifies the research paper for publication. The following topics were discussed: abstract, keywords, introduction, statement of problem or opportunity, purpose of the study, and research methodology (instrument / survey, participants, procedure, data analysis). The discussion continued with study results, interpretation of the findings, implications of the study and limitations. Dr. Koohang emphasized the importance of consistency and readability in the research papers. The seminar concluded with faculty and student participating in Q & A.
