A workshop: “The Netherlands: European challenges and intercultural particularities” lectured by PhD. Kees Shipper.

The academic section of the Scientific Group “ENACTUS” alongside the Deans Plenipotentiary for Student’s Exchange Dr Agnieszka Parlińska, on the 27th of March 2015, invites to participate in a workshop, which will introduce the Dutch point of view about participation in the European Union and the ways the residents of Holland treat the people immigrating there from around the world. Another of the workshops’ aims is to present students in Dronten University of Applied Sciences academic offers. This University also invites students to give studying abroad a go. A workshop begins at 8:15AM and will last about 2 hours.

Workshop entitled: The Netherlands: European challenges and intercultural particularities, will be led by PhD. Kees Schipper, the lecturer of Dronten University of Applied Sciences, who has extensive professional experience in countries such as France, Canada and China. The theme of the meeting includes the following topics:

  • functionality of the Dutch economy under EU directives,
  • the specifics of intercultural communications in the Dutch labor market,
  • globalisation and its impact on EU members,
  • the definition and operation of agriculture in the Netherlands and
  • methodologies in promoting products and services in and among foreign cultures

These subjects will be followed by a discussion about intercultural communication in a professional career.

We would like to invite everyone who is interested in participating, especially the third year students from the following degree courses: Finance and Accountancy, Logistics, Management.
